Thank you for this. I knew of Trinita, and Adam and Eve from Masaccio, but not Madonna Casini. It's lovely. As for your father, I wish him good health. I have been caring for my mother for the past 5 years and here, in Canada, the situation is going from bad to worse. I have to fight to get basic care such as antibiotics for pneumonia, as well as oxygen. As they say, at 89 she has had a good life... Courage. I believe every one has a right to live every minute they were allotted. No need to push our elderly over the cliff.
She is pretty. I was in Florence with Miss Eurodog recently and saw so many Madonnas I cannot remember seeing this one. Maybe I walked straight past it.
